# GET /countries

**List Paddle countries**

Returns a list of countries known to the Paddle platform, including the currency used for
automatic price conversion and whether Paddle supports sales to customers there.

The response is not paginated.

Other risk and compliance checks may still prevent an individual sale.
  - `has_regions`: boolean (required) — Whether Paddle holds region data for this country. Regions are only defined where sales are restricted below country level.
  - `tax_mode`: string (required) — How tax is presented for prices to customers in this country by default.
    - `internal` — Prices are inclusive of tax.
    - `external` — Prices are exclusive of tax.

  - `request_id`: string (required) — Unique ID for the request relating to this response. Provide this when contacting Paddle support about a specific request.
