# Checkout URL domain hasn't been approved

The domain in `default_url` isn't an approved checkout domain for your account.

## Common causes

- The domain in `default_url` hasn't been approved for your account.
- The domain was approved previously but has since been archived.

## Common solutions

- Submit the domain for approval in the Paddle dashboard under **Paddle > My account > Settings > Website approval**. Once it's approved, set `default_url` again using [Update checkout URL settings](https://developer.paddle.com/api-reference/settings/update-checkout-url).
- Use a URL on a domain that's already approved. [List checkout domains](https://developer.paddle.com/api-reference/checkout-domains/list-checkout-domains) returns your checkout domains and their approval status.
