# Domain isn't approved for Apple Pay verification

The domain couldn't be verified because its `status` isn't `approved` yet.

## Common causes

- The domain's `status` is `pending_review`, `in_review`, `rejected`, or `action_required` — only domains with `approved` status can have a payment method verified.

## Common solutions

- Check the domain's `status` with [Get a checkout domain](https://developer.paddle.com/api-reference/checkout-domains/get-checkout-domain). Verification only works once `status` is `approved`.
- If `status` is `action_required`, resolve the issue Paddle flagged, then call [Resubmit a checkout domain](https://developer.paddle.com/api-reference/checkout-domains/resubmit-checkout-domain) to send it back for review.
