# Payment method isn't available

The payment method you're trying to enable isn't available on your account.

## Common causes

- The payment method isn't available on your account, so it can't be enabled for checkout.

## Common solutions

- Check that `available` is `true` for the payment method using [Get checkout payment method settings](https://developer.paddle.com/api-reference/settings/get-checkout-payment-method-settings) before you enable it.
- Remove the payment method from your request.
- Contact the [Paddle support team](mailto:sellers@paddle.com) if you expected the payment method to be available on your account.
