```
## Details
| Attribute | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Status code | 400 |
| Error code | `price_allowance_not_allowed_for_one_off_price` |
| Error message | allowances aren't allowed on a price with no billing_cycle |
## Common causes
- The request includes `allowances` for a price with no `billing_cycle`, which makes it a one-off price.
- The request sets `billing_cycle` to `null` on a price that has `allowances`.
## Common solutions
- Set a `billing_cycle` on the price so that it's a recurring price.
- To keep the price one-off, remove the allowances. Omit `allowances` when creating the price, or set it to an empty array (`[]`) when updating it.
