What's new?
We've released our new Web Monetization Kit, a starter kit that you can use to create and deploy a website and checkout flow for your mobile app. It's designed to help you get approved on the Paddle platform quickly, and start monetizing on the web to grow your revenue.
You can deploy to Vercel in a couple of clicks, or on clone the GitHub repo to deploy elsewhere.
How it works
With recent changes to App Store rules, you can now link users from your iOS app to an external website for purchases. This is a huge opportunity for app developers to go direct-to-customer, avoiding high App Store fees and building stronger customer relationships.
When selling mobile apps on the web, you need a website that meets certain requirements to be compliant and approved on the Paddle platform. Our Web Monetization Kit gives you a head start with a template that includes everything you need.
You can use our Web Monetization Kit to quickly create and deploy a Next.js app that includes:
- A beautiful, customizable landing page, pricing page, and paywall.
- A high-converting checkout that's fully integrated with your app, built with Paddle Checkout.
- An easy-to-customize template with shadcn UI components to match your app's branding.
- A complete setup that helps you meet Paddle's website requirements for platform approval, speeding up the time to go-live.
As a merchant of record, Paddle comes with all the benefits of the App Store — including global payments, tax compliance, fraud prevention, and buyer support — with lower fees and more control over the purchase flow.
