What's new?
You can now see your Paddle metrics as interactive charts with any AI agent that supports MCP Apps. Ask your agent to chart revenue, refunds, chargebacks, or checkout conversion, and the chart appears in the conversation.
Use the controls on the chart to switch between daily, weekly, and monthly views or pick a preset date range. Then ask follow-up questions to dig into trends, compare periods, and find out what changed.
Charts are part of the Paddle MCP server.
How it works
MCP Apps is an extension to the Model Context Protocol that lets MCP servers show interactive content in the conversation, in any AI agent that supports it.
Previously, when you asked an agent connected to the Paddle MCP server about your metrics, it answered with text or built its own visualization from the Paddle API.
We've added a metrics charts MCP app to the Paddle MCP server, so now you can explicitly ask your AI agent to chart your Paddle revenue, refunds, chargebacks, or checkout conversion data. It uses the same data as Explore in the Paddle dashboard.
Charts follow Explore's data rules. Data refreshes every 24 hours, dates are in UTC, and you can look back 1,096 days (about 3 years). See Things to know in the Explore guide.
Support for MCP Apps varies between AI agents, and between products from the same provider. When an agent can't show an interactive view, it shows the answer as text instead.
Next steps
Metrics charts are available now in the Paddle MCP server. This is a non-breaking change, meaning it doesn't impact existing integrations.
If you've already connected the Paddle MCP server to an AI agent that supports MCP Apps, you can start using charts without changing your setup. If you connect with an API key, the key needs the metrics.read permission.
To get started, ask your agent for a chart:
Using paddle-live, chart my revenue for the last 3 months by week. Tell me which week was lowest and how it compares to the average.See Install the MCP server if you haven't connected the Paddle MCP server yet.
