Common causes

The request includes allowances for a price with no billing_cycle, which makes it a one-off price.
The request sets billing_cycle to null on a price that has allowances.

Troubleshooting

Set a billing_cycle on the price so that it's a recurring price.
To keep the price one-off, remove the allowances. Omit allowances when creating the price, or set it to an empty array ([]) when updating it.
