Common causes

  • The API key you specified isn't correct.

  • If the API key worked previously, it may have been revoked.

  • The API key you specified is for another environment. For example, you're trying to work with sandbox using a production API key.


  • Check that the API key exists in your Paddle Dashboard.

  • Copy the API key again from your Paddle Dashboard.

  • Check that you're using the correct API key for the environment.
