Subscription update removes all items

The update would remove every item, but a subscription must keep at least one item.

Common causes

You sent an empty items array, which would remove all items from the subscription.

Troubleshooting

Include at least one item in the items array.
To end the subscription, use the cancel a subscription operation instead.
