Emails sent from sandbox now come from @paddle.com
Sandbox emails now come from the paddle.com domain, rather than withpaddle.com.
What's new?
We've updated the Paddle platform so that customer emails sent from sandbox now come from the paddle.com
domain, rather than withpaddle.com
.
There are no changes to endpoints or fields in the API as a result of this change — it's an update to the way the Paddle platform sends emails.
How it works
Paddle sends emails to customers when they make a purchase and when subscription lifecycle events occur, like subscription renewals or cancellations. These emails are required for compliance reasons.
The emails sent from your sandbox account are the same as the emails you'll see when you're live. This gives you a flavor of the CX and lets you see what customers see.
Earlier this year, we updated the Paddle platform so that emails for sandbox accounts came from the withpaddle.com
domain. This update reverts this change so that emails come from the paddle.com
domain.
Sandbox emails still include [TEST]
in the subject, so you can distinguish them from live emails and create filters in your inbox to work with them.
